- Greetings,
-
- I have a couple of related MacApp debugging questions:
-
- 1. Does anyone have any simple insight as to why a program compiled in debug
- mode seems to execute fine without any errors or even warnings from the MacApp
- debugger, but crashes a miserable death when compiled in non-debug mode? It’s
- a 100% reproducible illegal instruction bug, but before I tackle it with
- Macsbug I thought I’d try SADE 1.1 first, thus leading into my second
- question...
-
- 2. I seem to be setting everything up OK thanks to the scripts geared towards
- MacApp use, but I’m having trouble setting up breakpoints. The correct syntax
- for breaking into a method isn’t jumping out at me. I either get something
- like “... field name not in record ...” or if I do get some form of acceptable
- syntax on the initial setting of the breakpoint, the MALaunch script will crash
- shortly with something like “... %_MethTables not loaded ...” Could someone
- lend me some insight as to what the correct syntax is for setting a breakpoint
- in a method?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Les Wardwell
